Scott

These days, light is in. The sub-900 gram road frame is a benchmark for most companies in 2008, which is kind of funny for Scott. In 2003 Scott released the CR1 at 895 grams. Scott still produces the CR1 frame for its entry level carbon road bikes, but in 2007 Scott revolutionized carbon manufacturing processes and released the Addict. At 790 grams the Addict is the lightest production road bike on the market and it has no rider weight limit. If you are into triathlon then the Plasma is a must see as the lightest triathlon bike on the market; it has a pound on those bikes with the curved seat tube.
